Hidden Sky Satellite Dish.
We have posted before with information on a flat roof TV aerial installation and would like to show you options now with hiding a Sky dish on a flat roof area.
If you are in an area with issues with planning consent for Sky satellite dishes or would simply like a hidden sky dish installation it can be a great solution.
The image here shows a simple Zone 1 mini dish, quad lnb and a “non penetrating roof mount” This mount consists of a galvanised frame with an attached pole, the mount is weighed down with standard 450×450 patio slabs.
The Sky dish can then be mounted to the attached pole in the same way as if fitting a Sky dish to a scaffold pole.
These Sky dish mounts can be used for any other Satellite dish in areas such as offices, commercial property roofs or communal buildings for communal TV reception systems
These mounts can also be utilised from the rear of the garden, especially in the rare event that Sky TV reception cannot be achieved from the property itself, maybe due to issues with the line of sight with the Astra satellites.
